hmm, its been about 2 weeks since my last posting, hehehe. now, after peads posting, i’m starts the Medical posting, which basically will be covering ward 7A,7B,8A&8B for next 8 weeks, In this ward, of course there is a lot more patients and a lot of cases, and we have to cover a cubicle. In each cubicle there are 14 patients the most. However the problems is, my friends and I didn’t hv the spirit to clark all the patients because of various reasons, 1 is, we are still not adapt to changes, 2, we hv to review our history taking since there is a lot of difference between peads & medical history, 3rd,we hv to review our PE technique since b4 this in peads it is mainly opportunistic and there is not much findings but now, we hv to do it from A-Z and synthesis the findings as we goes along, and 4th, we can’t find suitable time to clerk the patient. Sometimes, the patients is very weak and acute that we would think twice before decide to approach, some of them not co-operative, some spend most of their time in ward sleeping, some is very old and didn’t hear much, and there is foreigner who wouldn’t understand you. However, we hv to bear it and take up the challanges, we wouldn’t know how crucial it will be later in future since we’ll become responsible of our patient’s life. there will be no excuse. that the challenges we have to go through now!!

emm, since in medicine posting hv more free time than peads posting, i'm able to steal little time watching movies, hahahha and luckyly i found this sweet poem in the movie, with title ’The Square Root of Three’ by David Feinberg. i was amazed by his ability to bleds maths in telling a story. As we learned maths during lower grades, it is always rigid and solid, as example 1+1 is always 2. and as we learned higher grades of maths, it getting more global n interesting, we learnd about algebra, arithmetics and calculus. No matter how expand it would be, there always 2 answer in a math equation, true answer or a wrong answer. However, this guy expands the equation and giving the number, a soul. let see how the poem it is,=)

“The Square Root Of Three”

I fear that i will always be
A lonely number like root three
A three is all that’s good and right
Why must my three keep out of my sight
Beneath a vicious square-root sign?

I wish instead i were a nine
For nine could thwart this evil trick
With just some quick arithmetic

I’ll know i never see the sun
as 1.7321
Such is my reality
A sad irrationality

When hark!
Just what is this i see?
Another square root of a three
Has quitely come waltzing by

Together now we multiply
To form a number we prefer
Rejoicing as an integer

We break free from our mortal bonds
And with a wave of magic wands
Our square-root signs become unglued
And love for me has been renewed

finally, for me this is a best poem ever,=)
