emm, here is the essay question of 1st peads EOP exam, gosh, i didn’t know what i hv scribble in the answer sheet, huhuhu..

Essay part:

Question 1: 5 year old boy come in with with history of diarrhoea for past 3 days and vomitting for 1 day
a) What other history that you need to obtain from the mother? ( 20 marks)
b) How do you access the hydration status of the patient? (20 marks)
c)What is the principal of management of this case? (10 marks)

Question 2: 1 year old girl came in to Child Health Clinic was pale. Her mother said that she is active and well feed.
a) List immunization that a child in her age should have obtain? (5 marks)
b) What is the history that you would ask the mother regarding her condition and physical examination and the finding in order to deliver your diagnosis? (40 marks)
c) Give 3 differential diagnosis? (5 marks)

Total marks = 100marks

after doing the eop today, i learn that a training in obtain history from the patient is very helpfull and teaching during ward round essential in our training courses. Thanks to Prof Lee Wee Seah since he did CRITICALLY wanted us to know how to access the dehydration status! huhuhu…

now, i hv do my best for the paper and i leave the rest to ALLAH,=) insyaALLAH! Now, i hv 2 study for Social n Preventive Medicine (SPM) test on Wednesday evening and clinical test with Prof Lee on this Thursday. I hope i can do my best.
