After 2 months period of remedial classes, we started to attend actual classes. 1 started with gynecology posting for a month. As my mind still oozing away as most of us didn't actually have holiday period, the exam yesterday juz seem so far away.
People's said, the 4th year is a honeymoon period as we didn't have the professional exam and this may be the time we slacking off. I take it easy and under no pressure to rush with ward work or even bother reading a book. Most the time we just attend tutorials + ward round and we were as happy as ever. The dept is really strict with attendance so we choose to stay out of trouble most of the time. Our motto that time it is better to sleep in class during the tutorials presentation than have to write the letter explaining the absence.
In the PCM posting it was even better. We had 2 weeks of variety posting, a week of GP and a week of clinical posting. In variety posting, as usual, a "lawatan sambil belajar" to dept in primary care posting including home visits to patients houses around KL. In the clinical posting it was a bit challenging as we had to clerk patient in front of the lecturer which only separated by a mirror.
In this period of 2 months my friends and I did a waterfall hunting around KL n Selangor as we got off in the evening. We discover Kanching waterfall as 1 of most beautiful and satisfying waterfall here and the distance is fair, about only 30min driving from um. We have picnic there several times jus to kill times and for sure, we love waterfalls!!
During the transition we also had trip to Malacca n Muar. It just a 2days1night trip, however we did enjoy it a lot. Upon reaching Malacca, we had the sightseeing of Malacca town before went to Nafis's House in Muar. There we had the best Mee Rebus Muar ever before went to sleep. On the next day, we went to A'Famosa waterworld and plays there from morning till late evening before went to Umbai for dinner. As you know, umbai is one of the popular places for fresh seafood and we had a great time there before started our journy back to UM. It was unlucky that i didn't bring my cam there.
